What dog water intake estimates
Many teaching rules place adult dog water needs near tens of milliliters per kilogram per day. This page multiplies weight by your chosen rate and optionally boosts active dogs by 25%. Sudden heavy drinking needs veterinary evaluation, not a web target.
How the volume is built
mL = kg × (mL per kg) × factor. Factor is 1.0 for normal and 1.25 when activity equals active. Liters = mL / 1000. Fluid ounces use mL / 29.5735.
