Single-phase current
I = kVA × 1000 / V. Five kVA at 240 V gives 5000/240 ≈ 20.833 A apparent.
Three-phase factor
The engine divides by √3 for three-phase selections. Confirm your voltage is line-to-line as your diagram expects.
Real power
Multiply kVA by PF on kVA to kW before comparing to mechanical load power.
