Height in cm or feet and inches
One direction is centimeters to feet and inches (and total inches). The other is feet plus inches to centimeters and meters. Extra inches of 12 or more are folded into feet. The factor is 1 in = 2.54 cm.
Limits on this page
Centimeters must be greater than 0 and at most 300. Feet and inches together must be at most 9 feet. Those bounds catch typos. They are not a medical range. For BMI after you know height, use the BMI calculator.
Not a growth chart
Pediatric percentile charts need age and sex. This page only converts units.
Height converter questions
Does this page upload what I type?
No. The work runs in the page you opened. CZNull does not receive the input.
Can inches be 14?
Yes. 5 ft 14 in is stored as 6 ft 2 in of total height.
Why 300 cm max?
To reject typos. Convert a larger length on the length converter.
Meters?
The cm to ft/in direction also reports total inches. The ft/in direction reports meters.
Is this BMI?
No. It only converts height.
